New twist on housing levy law which the Head of State President William Ruto want it implemented by full force. According to reports, Kisumu Court has issued orders stopping the planned public participation on revised housing levy law pending hearing of a case filed by a lobby group.

In the recent interview with reporters, the Head of State President William Ruto said that housing levy was taken to the public and where Kenyans participated in the decision making something that led to them wanting it to be implemented. President William Ruto has been struggling to ensure that housing levy succeeds despite being termed as unconstitutional by the court.

Kisumu Court court of stopping planned public participation on the housing levy law has sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans. Kenyans are now waiting for the hearing and ruling of the housing levy law on whether it will continue it not.
