Marakwet Daughter, kalenjin artist behind the song “Mali Safi chito which has become popular in Kenyans has made claims that have left Kenyans with mixed reactions.
According to a video shared by a local journalist, Marakwet Daughter was heard saying that she is a virgin meaning she has never had S£x in her entire life.
“Niko Virgin, Eeeh, niko virgin cha ukweli, Niko virgin kabisa, kwani hamusikii?” Marakwet daughter said.
This has left Kenyans with mixed reactions. Remember the artist has been trending thanks to her hit song which has become favourite among many especially during wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies.
Her allegations have sent shockwaves on social media with Kenyans expressing their mixed reactions. It’s not clear whether the singer was serious with her words or she was just joking considering that she had earlier disclosed that she was once married for 5 years.
The singer according to reports had earlier claimed that while trying to evade poverty, she got married at age 16 years but the relationship didn’t go so well as she was abused forcing it to end in 2021.
