In a report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that the former Cabinet Secretary had been charged along with other suspects who have been identified as former chief economist Kennedy Nyakundi, former Nema managing director Geoffrey Wahungu and KVDA officials Jackson Kinyanjui, William Kipkemboi, Paul Kipkoech, Francis Chepkonga and Titus Muriithi.
