Mwalimu Dida Kipkoech has come out to reveal that during the Jamhuri celebrations at Uhuru Gardens on Tuesday school children were ferried to the stadium to cheer the president when he arrived.
Dida has said that the president and his party knew he would not be welcomed with an applause and therefore used the children to lie to Kenyans and visitors that he is loved by Kenyans. Dida has criticized this action as he said that the times of Moi when people were being forced to chant his name are over. He criticized the people who organized for the children to be taken there and the parents who allowed their children to be used as it is not a good thing.
“Whoever took those school children to the stadium to fill it and make them chant Ruto should be ashamed of themselves. The parents that allowed their children to go should equally be ashamed. Moism ended. A child can’t vote, therefore the child must not be used for politics.” Dida said.
