Name and photo is man who was arrested at Uhuru Gardens today during the Jamhuri Day Celebrations has been revealed as ODM politician reacts.
The man has been identified as Kamau. He was arrested after he attempted to disrupt Ruto’s speech at Uhuru Gardens while carrying a placard.
It took the intervention of the security officers to kick him out of the venue after being whisked away.
Photo shared by Kileleshwa Ward MCA Robert Alai now reveals that he was arrested and is currently under police custody.
Alai while reacting to this incident has called for the police to release him for he had not committed any crime. Alai has revealed that the placard Kamau was carrying had a message which read ‘poverty is man made’
The today’s national celebration went off well without major incidents apart from the brief Incident of Kamau and the security officers.
The event was majorly given a wide berth by all the oppostion leaders including the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Narc party leader Martha Karua.
