A seemingly frustrated and Angered Kikuyu Member of Parliament Hon Kimani Ichungwa has been forced to withdraw a bill he had tabled on the floor of the House after receiving hostility from a Section of UDA MPs such as Didmus Baraza, Gathoni Wamuchomba Among Others.
In a video seen by this writer, the National Majority Leader seems to have been angered by the MPs who can be heard shouting in the Background. Also, the MP had proposed that the National Assembly Sittings be extended to the next two weeks instead of proceeding with the Christmas recess beginning this week.In his argument, Ichungwa said the period would have helped the House to summon Education and National Treasury CS to Answer Questions related to Govt plans for Education in 2024.
But a section of MPs drawn from the UDA Party and the ODM Clashed with him saying that they didn’t need to continue staying in the House.
