Actress Catherine Kamau popularly known as Kate Actress has met her former TV ‘bae’ Patrick Oketch Odhiambo when they were acting as parents in the program Mother In Law on Citizen TV.
The two starred as Selina and Charlie respectively, as husband and wife, in the popular drama series aired on Citizen TV.
However, later, Kate Actress quit the show a few years ago but her ‘husband’ continues to act. The two met again while Catherine acted in the role of Maria in Mother In Law.
Details about the event they were attending were not revealed but Kate shared the event via a photo on her Instagram account, appearing to joke about her single status “The market is you and your people… Miss Charlie,” he said proudly.
“Let’s mix it up until we learn to mind our own business,” one of her fans commented on the photo. Another said, “You won’t give me pressure, anyways, where can we get rice and wonderful soda.”
“He himself is an event and happens, go away,” read other comments while another said rest will only be in heaven.
The mother of two has not shied away from embracing her single status since announcing that she broke up with film director Philip Karanja.
Until now, it is not clear why the two broke up after 10 years of union. In April of this year, there were rumors that they had separated but they tried to shut it down, with Kate sharing a video with Phil during an event.
In September 2023, they confirmed their fans’ worst fears.
“We came to the decision to end our marriage a long time ago and we have separated. We sincerely ask that everyone respect our privacy wishes for us and our children,” the joint statement said.
Kate added that their divorce was not a secret but that they had decided to keep it private.
‘We were never secret, just private. To all our dear fans, THANK YOU SO MUCH, for the support over the years,” said the popular actor.
