Self-proclaimed blogger and former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has expressed discontentment in the act of Netizens trying to indirectly compare Governor Alfred Mutua and Juliani’s manhood in viral ‘banana’ photo.
In a Tuesday morning post, Sonko said that it not right for Netizens to compare Juliani and Mutua, stating that divorce and heartbreaks is a normal thing in marriages and relationships.
He went on to wonder why someone will insinuate that Lillian and Mutua’ s marriage ended because of the size of his ‘banana’.

Sonko’s Take
“Just seeing this photo on line now and just asking myself what does bananas got to do with Alfred’s and Lilian’s affair. Kavaluku is just a human being like any other. We all undergo divorce cases and even heartbreaks in marriages and relationships this issue of comparing the size of bananas and cucumbers in couples affairs is not fair at all. Can you stop I” wrote Mike Sonko.
However, Kenyans On Twitter were quick to notice that Sonko was mocking the Machakos County Boss indirectly, while pretending to be on his side.
This is not the first time Sonko is weighing in on the Mutua, Lillian and Juliani saga. On August 16, the former County boss was again cautioning bloggers to keep off governor Alfred Mutua’s private life.
“My fellow bloggers, can you keep off Governor Alfred Mutua’s private life? Kukula na kukuliwa is normal and part of life. Hata nyinyi mabibi zenu wanakulwa tu vile munakulana nje but hawawezi kubali mujue vile tu nyinyi hamukubali wao wajue mukikulana nje. @ngangalillian, you are a strong woman and continue being strong especially during this difficult time when you are undergoing challenges. We say behind every successful man there’s a woman. You have been with Dr. Alfred since 2011 when I was elected as MP 15 years ago, meaning you met this guy before he became Governor” reds part of Sonko’s post.
The confirmation
On September 3rd, Former Machakos First Lady Lilian Nganga confirmed being a romantic relationship with musician Julius Owino aka Juliani.
Lillian shared a photo of herself hugging the rapper with a message to Kenyans confessing her love for the Utawala hitmaker.

“In this photo are two fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together. Any other narrative is false outdated and ill interntioned. Let’s respect people’s choices. Love and let love,” read the statement which was signed off by the initials JL.
The message was also reiterated by Juliani who had earlier said their relationship was quite obvious.
“Asante sana for all who’ve reached out the past couple of weeks. Mola awazidishie. No need for a statement about the obvious issue. I know you can think for yourselves. Draw your own conclusions. I believe in you,” his IG post read..
