s we come to the end of 2023, President William Ruto has been told by his own Kenya Kwanza legislators to work on the cost of fuel to save the citizens from the impact of high prices. As a result of the high prices of fuel, prices of commodities are beyond Kenyans affordability hence the need by the President to come down and save Kenyans from this situation.

With many cries to the Head of State to return the fuel subsidy to cushion Kenyans from this hike in petroleum products prices in each monthly review, Ruto is planning a new thing. The President is planning to introduce fuel stabilisation fund that he says will help his government to curb the rising high cost of fuel. According to Ruto, he will not reintroduce fuel subsidy but stabilisation funds will be used instead. This funds will help to keep the prices at one level hence cushioning Kenyans from high prices.
