A few hours ago, a very nasty road accident occurred along the Nakuru Eldoret Highway at a place called Salgaa where a Matatu vehicle full of passengers and a trailer truck collided with each other head-on. According to the report, six people lost their lives in this accident at the spot while four died while at the hospital.
Sadly, the last victim of this Matatu vehicle has been pronounced dead today for he has succumbed to injuries. The eleven dead bodies have already been taken to the mortuary for preservation and autopsy as they await identification for their families to pick them up for burial purposes.
