The Kenyan government broke its quiet today and made a strong declaration directed at all Kenyan nationals living in various local and regional locations.

Speaking through the Pharmacy and Poisons Board today, October 2, 2023, the Kenyan government revealed that citizens will have to pay a significant sum of money to obtain wholesale dealer licensing services.

According to information released by the Kenyan government, Kenyans who want to start a wholesale business will now have to pay Ksh50,000 to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya for licensing services.

The amount Kenyans previously had to pay to use the service has been strategically increased by the new licensing charge. It is very important to note that wholesale licensing services used to cost Kenyans Ksh 20,000.

The Kenyan government has further declared that citizens of Kenya would now have to pay Ksh15,000 for pharmacy premises registration services, instead of Ksh10,000 as they did before for the same service.
