Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management CS Moses Kuria and his Counterpart in the Interior Ministry Prof Kithure Kindiki were missing during a Cabinet Meeting organized by Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua in his Karen Home in Nairobi.
According to the photos shared by the Second in command through his Facebook page, it remains unclear why the two Mt Kenya Region CSs didn’t attend the meeting. But speculation has been rife that Gachagua and Kuria haven’t been reading from the same script since the Cabinet Reshuffle and the Subsequent impeachment of Governor Kawira Mwangaza. But taking to his Facebook Page Gachagua wrote that, “Today, I chaired a Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi. For a People-centred implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, through inter-ministerial strategic consultations and review of decisions, this is crucial. It allows us to make necessary and timely adjustments for effective and efficient service delivery.’
