Wiper party leader Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka on Wednesday reacted after the Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga visited State House where he interacted with King Charles and other leaders from the government.

While speaking on Wednesday at the Bomas of Kenya while following up on the events of the ongoing bipartisan talks between the Azimio la Umoja coalition and Kenya Kwanza, the former vice president said that Raila Odinga’s level and political status earned him the opportunity of being invited to such a high profile event.

Kalonzo Musyoka further went ahead and stated that individuals like him are on a standing list and the invitation of the Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga to attend the dinner celebration in State House should not be overlooked by anyone.

“At the level of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, I can tell you some of us are on a standing list, that we would be invited in the event of an important State guest like His Majesty King Charles III so it should not be seen beyond that,” Kalonzo Musyoka said.

This comes after the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was seen in State House for the first time since President William Samoei Ruto came to power. Raila Odinga was also seen freely interacting with King Charles as well as politicians who were present.

Other leaders who were present in the State House include Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi, Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and others.
