Just a few hours after Mount Kenya leaders led by Martha Wangari Karua, the leader of the Narc-Kenya Party, and Jeremiah Kioni, the secretary general of the Jubilee party, broke their silence, senior political expert and commentator Professor Herman Kamarike Manyora has spoken out. The goal is to bring the Mountain together in order to start planning for the upcoming general elections.
And this just happened after Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua, the vice president, met with Mount Kenya officials to discuss his idea to merge the greater Mount Kenya Region.
According to Manyora, the decision to form the Kwamene Forum, which will unify the Mountain, by Martha Wangari Karua and Jeremiah Kioni, was a wise one.
“This shows that Martha Wangari Karua is now becoming more serious about the National Politics.”
