According to the current academic calendar, all primary and secondary schools in Kenya are supposed to close on exactly date 27 next week. A report however emerged stating that school heads have decided to defy orders from the Ministry of Education and close earlier than expected. According to the report, some schools are releasing students today on Mashujaa day. Some schools will close on Monday leaving class eight and form four candidates to sit for their national exams.
All Primary And Secondary Schools will remain closed for two consecutive months after which they will resume studies in January for a new academic year. As a parent, expect your child back at home anytime, please let’s also remember to send them transport money on time.
