Eyebrows have been raised as UDA politician and Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja travels with his cabinet to Paris , France despite order from the head of state on the number of people a governor should travel with in a foreign trip.
According to the information shared by Journalist James Smart, the Nairobi County Governor has travelled with his executive, essentially his cabinet to Paris, France, a tour Smart is saying is a ‘very’ essential travel.
This comes at a time when the head of state President William Ruto through the head of civil service and his chief of staff Felix Koskei had earlier frozen non-essential travels by Cabinet Secretaries, Governors and other high ranking government officials.
In the directive that was given by the head of civil service, in case of a foreign travel by the Governor, he/she should only travel with 2 people.
The case of Sakaja has raised eyebrows as he has travelled with his entire cabinet according to the information shared by James Smart.
