Today in the afternoon, reports have emerged that Kenya Kwanza and Azimio camp through their dialogue teams have agreed on the creation of two new offices in the republic of Kenya.
As reported by the standard digital, the two camps have agreed to create the office of the prime cabinet secretary and the office of the official opposition leader. They have also agreed on the implementation of the two-thirds gender rule. “National Dialogue Team agrees on three issues including two-thirds gender rule, establishment of Prime CS and Opposition leader office and fidelity of political parties.” Reads part of the report.
According to these reports, the NADCO team have only agreed on the above issues so far. Other issues that are being discussed in Bomas are; the auditing of the 2022 general elections results, police brutality, reconstitution of the IEBC and the high cost of living. The NADCO team is expected to come up with the final report in 60 days.
