Addressing via its Embassy in Nairobi today 3rd October 2023, the United States of American Government has announced 15th November 2023 as the institutionalized deadline for Kenyan students to apply for the e highly coveted BridgeUSA Ambassador Scholarship Fund.
The United States of American Government has underscored that Kenyan students who will be chosen as Department of State grantees, will gain professional experience in the United States, improve their English language skills, and share their own culture with Americans on the Summer Work Travel BridgeUSA visa.
The United States of American Government further underscored that the Ambassadors Fund for SWT is a unique public diplomacy program and distinct from the general BridgeUSA Summer Work Travel Program (SWT).
US Government has maintained that Ambassadors Fund Scholarship Kenyan students will travel to the United States for up to four months during their university summer break and will be matched with host employers in seasonal communities throughout the United States, and will work in seasonal, entry-level jobs with a high-level of interaction with American colleagues and guests.
The United States of American Government further divulged that recipients will meet, work, live with and learn from both people of the United States and other international students while sharing daily experiences.
