The security situation at Nyamira County Assembly is tight as Police officers have been forced to intervene to calm the situation. This is after the unknown people blocked the gates of the assembly with stones and raw sewage.
This happens ahead of the impeachment proceedings of the governor of Nyamira County Assembly Amos Nyaribo who is facing the impeachment from the hands of the Members of County Assembly.
Heavy Police Presence has been spotted as they have camped at the gate after getting rid of the stones and also the things used to barricade the gate.
It has however not been established on the cause of the move and the motive behind such act ahead of the proceedings of oustering the county boss.
Nyaribo who has been under the attack of the MCAs who wants him out of office has however not communicated on the ongoing issue that has embattled him risking his position.
