Mercy Wanjiru from Samata has revealed how his boss took advantage of her when she was working as a house help, He would wait for his wife to go to work and return home to sleep with her.
According to Mercy her father died when she was still young and so after class eight her mother didn’t have money to take her to secondary school.
She claims that she started working as a house girl when she was sixteen years, the first house she went to work was very good and they were pastors and they used to pray a lot but one morning her boss told her to pack her clothes which were wet on cloth lines and leave her house.
She went back home and after a while she found another house where the boss was also a pastor and the wife was working in tourist company, she says that the wife would go for days without coming back home and her boss used to tell her that she will never leave their house without sleeping with her.
Mercy says that one day her boss and his wife woke up as usual and went to work but her boss came back in the house, he asked her to get something from the shop and as he was giving her the money he grabbed her hand and tried to lock the door but she was able to open the door and ran away.
She says that when she was calling her madam to tell her what had happened her husband had already called her and lied that he had found her with a man in their house, she was chased away and from that time she vowed never to work again as a house girl and started her own hotel with her savings.
