His wife, Betty is the sister of former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.While hosting family and friends at his home in Ugenya.This is where the country had a chance to take a look at his beautiful mansion in the village.
James Orengo and Betty are blessed with a total of seven children. Namely: Bob Orengo, Micheal Orengo, Zeni Orengo, Steven Orengo, Lavender Orengo, Josephine Orengo, Lynette Orengo.
