Kenya’s Ferdinand Omanyala is currently ranked second worldwide in 100 metres behind Noah Lyles of USA. The Kenyan amazed 1406 points to emerge second while Noah Lyles amazed 1433 points to rank at position one. Ferdinand Omanyala ranked ahead of 20 year old Botswana International Letsile Tebogo who was ranked third with 1404 points.
Tebogo surprised many in the world during the Budapest World championship where he won himself a silver medal in 100 metres.He also won a silver medal in 200 metres behind Noah Lyles. It is a good news for the two African men as they continue to enjoy good performances abroad.
