Gospel artiste Ringtone Apoko has revealed the reason for standing by Diana Marua’s side after she was criticized on the internet due to the dress she wore a few weeks back when taking a picture of her youngest child, Morgan Bahati.Speaking to Mungai Eve, Ringtone said that what made him stand with Diana was because he felt it was wrong for people to drag an innocent child into the commotion, starting to say that Morgan looked like footballer Victor Wanyama.
The second thing that made Ringtone to defend Diana Marua is because he said that he loves her beyond measure.
Ringtone committed blasphemy by mentioning that today one Diana Marua, Incase Bahati Kioko died, the first person Diana will run to is none other than him, asking Kenyans to stop being confused and thinking that they are enemies.”I love Diana very much and in fact, just incase- Bahati pass away today,I am sure that the first person Diana will run to to tell him that your brother is not here is me.Ask Diana, one day ask her, they know that Bahati’s elder brother is me.Our war outside means nothing, we love each other very much,” Ringtone said.
The artist said that what fans think is hatred is just criticizing each other in some things that are not done in the right way.
“We are just criticizing each other, and I have said that Bahati smokes marijuana, it is not that I hate him, I want the children and the artists who come to understand that there are things we cannot do, we are a mirror of society.”
Ringtone criticized People for trying to bring baby Morgan into the fray of shouting at Diana, associating the baby as the result of Marua and Wanyama’s previous relationship.
