Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Saturday, 2, September warned Kenyans against taking seriously opposition leaders criticizing President William Ruto during the day.

Musalia Mudavadi was speaking on Saturday, 2, September during the burial of late James Osogo in Budalangi, Busia County.

He said President William Ruto has always maintened that he is ready to work with all leaders in the country irrespective of their political affiliations.

He urged Luhya leaders to rise above party politics and embrace President William Ruto in order to get resources to develop their counties.

The seasoned politician took a swipe at opposition leaders who in their statements urge Kenyans to desist from working with the government, but talk to President Ruto every evening.

Mudavadi has alleged that he was surprised few weeks ago in Eldoret when he found out that Homa Bay county boss Gladys Wanga who has been a great critic of Ruto-led administration joined Ruto in taking team and roasted maize.

Musalia said that leaders should not lie to Kenyans not to work with the government but share maize and tea with Ruto in the evening after criticizing him the whole day.
