If you thought Kenyans are afraid of the men in blue, (Kenyan police) think again because nothing could be further from the truth. Actually, the opposite is quite true if recent happenings are anything to go by.A video has surfaced on social media showing angry citizens roughing up a Kenyan police officer. At one point, it seems that the man whose job is to maintain law and order seems helpless.Reports indicate that he hurled his baton at a matatu which was overlapping. The matatu refused to stop when asked to do so. Unfortunately, the stick shattered the vehicle’s windscreen and hit a girl who was seated next to the driver with her mother.Passengers asked the driver to stop the vehicle and approached the officer demanding to know why he injured the little girl who had done nothing wrong. In the video, the girl’s mother is seen manhandling the officer while the rest scream and shove him. At some point, the woman is heard demanding compensation from the officer for injuring her daughter.
