Gabriel Oguda has said, there’s a debate on the floor of the National Assembly about the state of Lang’ata Cemetery. Apparently, grave robbers have signed a coalition agreement with wild animals from the nearby Nairobi National Park.

The grave robbers arrive at night to steal coffins and leave the bodies for the wild animals to go back with to the forest for their evening meal. One day a pack of hyenas were spotted chilling by the grave side entertaining grave robbers with laughter, as they waited for the grave robbers to finish their end of their bargain.

Consequently, residents of Langata estate have been asked not to be afraid when they spot wild animals roaming around their estates during the day, as they have come out to say thank you for a symbiotic working relationship in the food chain.

The only thing you need to do is to give them water to drink, they’ll be back to the forest in no time, thanking you for the daily rice and beef stew.
