Just the other day, Azimio Coalition leader Raila Odinga ignited a heated debate online after hw called out the US ambassador Meg Whitman over her remarks about last year’s general elections. According to the US diplomat, Meg claimed that the 2022 general elections was one of the most credible polls in Kenyan history.
While speaking during the Devolution Conference in Eldoret town, rails called out the ambassador telling her to shut up and avoid making comments over last year’s polls. The tough talking Raila went ahead to threaten to initiate a recall of Meg from Kenya if she continues to make comments over Kenya’s elections.
“Tell the rogue ambassador Kenya is not the United States. Kenya is not a colony of the United States. Keep your mouth while you are here. Otherwise, we will call for your recall back to your country,” said Odinga.
Today, political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has called out Raila Odinga over his remarks about the US ambassador. Mutahi questioned Raila if she told the US ambassador to shut up because she’s a woman of because she spoke the truth. Ngunyi went ahead to say that if indeed Ruto rigged the elections, then the truth is not in the servers. He went ahead to claim that Raila lost the polls because he was disorganized.
“Dear Babaman: Did you ORDER Meg Whitman (the. American) to SHUT UP because she is a WOMAN Or because she spoke the TRUTH? Or is it BOTH? If Ruto RIGGED the 2022 election, the TRUTH is not in the SERVER. The TRUTH is that you were DISORGANISED. Period.” Professor Mutahi Ngunyi.
His remarks comes at a time Raila Odinga has left the country for a one week retreat at the UK where he will hold private meetings with his supporters and families living in the UK.
