Former presidential candidate and businessman Jimi Wanjigi has caused a moment of silence at the ACK St James Cathedral in Kiambu Town after coming face to face with President William Ruto.
When he took to the podium, Wanjigi didn’t hold back on telling then president the truth about what is happening to Kenyans on the ground.
He informed him how inflation has affected Kenyans and that most people are having a problem because there is no money.
Wanjigi even went on to claim that unlike the previous time, the people were not cheerful during today’s event despite the president being around.
He then asked the audience to be frank enough and open up to the president about their situation so that he can also understand what is happening to the people.
“In one year inflation has gone up here on the cost by 35%. Rais I must be sincere that is a problem we are all facing infact when I was here last year watu walikuwa na roho kushinda leo. Rais amekuja hapa kwa nini hamna ile roho ya ndani? You will find shida ya hawa watu wote ni ground ni kubaya hela imekosekana. Ni kweli si kweli? Unajua rais ako hapa ni vizuri rais ashike roho zenu ajue hali yenu,” said Jimi Wanjigi.
