Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga has this afternoon said President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza Government at large need to be forgiven for thinking he can just sit down and watch as Kenyans continue to languish in abject oppression and poverty from the government.

Speaking during a burial ceremony in Makueni where he used the famous phrase “Punda Imechoka” to signal a change of his strategy, the Opposition Leader without divulging more details affirmed that Ruto will go home in 2027 should fail to change.

In his message, Raila said the Opposition will come up with a program that will help Kenyans understand why and how the economic situation has worsened since Uhuru left office.

This, according to Raila, is intended to make Kenyans understand that they made a bad decision by banking on Ruto as far as the 2022 general election is concerned.

But his message come amidst ongoing Bipartisan talks being led by Kalonzo and Ichungwa from Azimio and KKA respectively.
