Dr. James Nyoro Former Governor, Kiambu stated that We cannot return to loss of lives and a battered economy. I urge Kenya Kwanza and Azimio to retreat and restrategize, as seen in football matches. Mutual respect is an essential principle during dialogue.

After spending 25 years in jail, Simon Lokwachelia, convicted to death after being found guilty of five counts of robbery with violence by a Nanyuki Court, is now a free man. Lokwachwelia, now aged 49 years, was released from the Rumuruti GK Prison on Sunday after successfully battling appeals to have his sentence reviewed. On April 13, 2000, the then Nanyuki Senior Resident Magistrate S.M. Kibunja found Lokwachwelia guilty of the charges and has since been behind bars seeking to appeal the judgment.

Elizabeth Kailemia Woman Rep Meru stated that Demonstrations didn’t provide any solution to the high cost of living. I hope the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio dialogue will succeed and focus on developing the country.
