The Azimio Spokesperson Makau Mutua has warned those who are gagging Mutahi Ngunyi from speaking his mind to stop. He is clear that, the revelations by the former Statehouse staff are extremely important for the democracy of the country.
It’s clear that, Mutahi Ngunyi worked in Statehouse under former president Uhuru Kenyatta and therefore he knows a lot more about elections. The issue of Kenya Kwanza leaders gagging him from speaking his mind is therefore unacceptable.
Professor Makau Mutua is clear that, the unfortunate defeat of Raila Odinga in the August 9th polls is something that has continued to baffle him. Mutua is clear that, if more details emerge of what happened in the election period the better.
Ngunyi has accused Raila Odinga on being lethargic in the August 9th polls and leaving the disorganized deep state to make him president. He is clear that, Uhuru Kenyatta was also not willing to deliver a presidency and that informs as to why the Azimio coalition suffered a humiliating defeat in the elections.
