President William Ruto today left the crowd he was addressing wild after revealing that one of his UDA allies have been making frequent visits to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s home over development projects.

Speaking at Thika town, Kiambu County during the launch of Thika Affordable Housing Program, Ruto told the crowd that the are lucky to have a very committed MP.

The president told the crowd that he just had to congratulate their area MP Alice Nganga because she is a hard working lady.

He told the crowd that the MP have been making frequent visits to Gachagua’s home over development projects, forcing the Deputy President to contact him(the president) over the issues raised.

“Huyu mbunge wenu Alice Nganga nataka nimpongezi sana. Huyu Deputy President hana amani, mara huyu mama anaenda kwake anamgongea mlango. Mpaka Deputy President ananiambia huyu mama amenisumbua sana angalia mambo yake (I have to congratulate this your MP Alice Nganga. This Deputy President have no peace. This MP goes to his place and knocks the door to an extent he is telling me that this woman is really disturbing us, please let’s look into her problems),” Ruto said amid cheers from the overwhelmed crowd.

The President said that over twenty thousand youths from the area will benefit through direct employment from the housing program that he launched today.

Ruto also awarded a Ksh. 125 Million tender to a section of artisans from the town during the event. Ruto said that the artisans will be task within providing the doors and windows for the houses that will be built at Thika town through the housing program.
