Born Sammy Murimi Nderi known by stage name Murimi Wa Kahalf died seven years ago at Saint Francis Hospital in Kasarani leaving behind his parents, two wives and two children. Before he met his maker, he was admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital for several weeks battling a mysterious disease before moving to St Francis hospital.
Despite him being among the most popular Kikuyu Benga musicians in Mt Kenya, his mother and his daughter are living in objective poverty and they have nowhere they can call home. The daughter who is in form two could not hold her tears trying to explain what she goes through in life to survive.
She is now an orphan since her mother who was also very popular in Kikuyu comedy industry by the name Nyakirata died few years before his father Murimi Wa Kahalf died. Her grandmother who is the mother to Murimi Wa Kahalf works as a caretaker of elder women and that is where they live when she comes back from school since they have nowhere to call home.
Looking directly to the camera with teary eyes she wishes her father was alive since the love he had for her they would be living a better life. She went ahead and said it pains her to see her grandmother struggling to make sure she gets education while her father was very rich and popular but few individuals took all his property without thinking about his family.
She is now pleading with Murimi Wa Kahalf fans to help her pay her school fees as well as finding her grandmother somewhere she can live believing one day she will change their story line. Watch the full video below.
