On Thursday morning, the presenter of the program Gidi and Ghost Asubuhi on Radio Jambo Gidi Ogidi was asked to help reconcile President William Ruto and the leader of Umoja-One Raila Odinga as he has been reconciling Kenyans in the Reconciliation category.A fan who was commenting on Wednesday morning’s Reconciliation told the talented broadcaster that he has what it takes to bring the two feuding politicians together and help them understand each other.”Gidi, this is what you are doing, look for Raila and Ruto to reconcile them. I think you can talk with them, that is your talent,” Hardson Mambili from Westlands said.

In his response, Gidi who has been helping to reconcile Kenyans who were at odds in the morning session for more than a decade noted that he cannot deal with politicians.

The former musician said that politicians are stubborn and can give him a hard time.

“I can’t deal with politicians, they are very stubborn. Politicians are very stubborn,” Gidi said.

He added that he would like to continue to reconcile ordinary citizens rather than dealing with politicians who he said are selfish.

For many years, Gidi and his co-host Jacob Ghost Mulee have been helping Kenyans who are at loggerheads to reconcile and rebuild healthy relationships.

Most of the time, people who were at odds agree to settle their differences in the Reconciliation every Monday to Friday but sometimes it becomes difficult for others to get along.

The request to reconcile Ruto and Raila comes at a time when the ODM leader is leading a national protest against the government.

Last week, Raila announced that the weekly protests against the Ruto government will be held every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He asked his followers to come out on the streets in those three days of the week starting this week.
