Awinja, a former castmate, reacted to the post with a broken heart emoji.Kenyans joined Njoro in paying tribute to the renowned late actor by writing: winfaithofficial:
âIt’s okay, Njoro as a country, we miss him too.â
The actress went on to add that Papa Shirandula was like a father and was very special and dear to her.
âBukeko was very caring. Even outside the set, he would always give me advice. He was our dad. After he passed on, I said I have lost another father after my biological dad,â she said.
Addressing her favorites among the Papa Shirandula cast, Awinja gave a special mention to Jacqueline Nyaminde (Wibroda), saying she always anticipated to work with her on set.
Papa Shirandula was an award-winning actor who graced Kenyan screens for years and his show Papa Shirandula was a major hit and widely viewed. He won Kalasha Award for âBest Actor in a TV Seriesâ in 2010.
