Political analyst Herman Manyora has dismissed claims of a plot to assassinate Raila Odinga, stating he’s a spirit, not flesh.
Manyora said the movement against the government and high living costs is now driven by the people, not just the leaders.
According to Manyora, he alleged that Odinga is more than just a leader, as he embodies a spirit of resistance. He added that the collective power of the people fuels the fervent anti-government protests and not the opposition leader.
He said it is worthwhile to note that Raila has been at the forefront of opposition efforts to address the country’s economic challenges.
“Raila is not a human bike Who told you Raila is a human being? He is a spirit. So how do you kill a spirit? I am looking for Gachagua to tell him Raila is a spirit. When you are dealing with Raila, it is like you are dealing with spirituality. This thing is within the people now, not just with the leaders,” Manyora said.
