Super Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi has now stamped authority on Monday, July 17, 2023. According to reports, the Prime Cabinet Secretary has deployed dozens of sleuths attached to the Inspectorate of State Corporations (ISC) at the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA).
A report done by People Daily informs thay Mudavadi has instructed the officers to camp at the KEMSA headquarters and spy on every move that’s made at the agency in a bid to curb corruption.
KEMSA has been riddled with a series of scandals in the past years up to recently when it was hit by another multi-million graft that forced the Health Cabinet Secretary Hon Susan Nakhumicha to crack the whip. Just weeks ago, the Health CS recalled a number of government officials attached to KEMSA over corruption claims.
Mudavadi’s move is now believed to be a game changer in fighting corruption cases at the ministry. The deployed inspectors are reportedly play a key role in safeguarding public resources.
