Kisumu County Governor Hon. Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o has this evening, 15 July 2023 broke his silence thanking section of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders who came out to attend the ODM rally that was organised in Kisumu City, Kisumu East Sub-County.
The governor thanked the leaders for their committment in the ODM party and to the ODM leader Raila Odinga.
“Thank you Kisumu for your commitment in @TheODMparty and love to our Party Leader Hon. @RailaOdinga” said Governor Nyong’o
The Azimio La Umoja leader however did not show up for the rally even after being waited for long by the supporters who had turned up in large numbers to listen to them.
As shown by the photos and images shared by Governor Nyong’o, Raila was not present there at the podium as his brother Oburu Odinga the Siaya County Senator was present.
This has now happened contrary to the initial plans that would saw Odinga addressed the supporters in rallies in Kisumu then heads to Homabay County.
