After entertaining their local fans, popular Mugithi artistes are now set make their enthusiasts abroad feel good through their music.
The current undisputed king of Mugithi, Waithaka Wa Jane, left the country on Wednesday for Doha, Qatar, where he is expected to perform tonight.
‘Karaiku Master’ will perform at Armane X Lounge and will be charging Sh3,800 entry ticket at the gate.
After performing in Qatar, Waithaka, whose real name is John Waithaka Mwangi, will fly to Dubai where he will perform at Time Cafe Sports Bar on Friday night. The entry fee for this show will be Sh4,600.
He will return to the country on Saturday and will have another show at Kenol in Murang’a county on Sunday at Oj Kenol lounge.
On the other hand, DJ Faxto, will be performing on Saturday at Indigo African Restaurant in Coventry, United Kingdom, during Mwomboko Night Coventry show.
DJ Faxto, whose real name is Lawrence Njuguna Wagura, left the country about 10 day ago and he had a show in London last weekend.
Later in the month, on July 29, Samidoh and Joyce Wa Mamaa will be performing in Frankfurt, Germany at Gunes Theater.
After Germany, the ‘Wendo Wi Cama’ hirmakers will travel to various countries in Europe in August entertaining their fans.
