UDA nominated senator Karen Nyamu caught the attention of many Kenyans on father’s day last month after she recorded a video of herself allegedly buying alcohol worth 420 k and claiming that it was a gift for her lover musician Samidoh for being a good father to her two children.
Many Kenyans lauded her for appreciating the musician while some wondered why she was wasting a huge amount on expensive liquor amid the high cost of living.
However, Mugithi maestro Samidoh yesterday revealed that Karen Nyamu did not buy him alcohol worth 420K during fathers Day.
Responding to a fan who enquired on whether the premium alcohol gift is still in the refrigerator, the controversial musician said that there was no such gift.
“Samuel, is the 420k gift still in the fridge” The fan asked.
Samidoh on the other hand replied; “The social media showbiz should not be taken seriously” as translated from Swahili.
