It is said that the hardest part of losing someone isn’t having to say goodbye, but rather learning to live without them; always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that’s left inside your heart when they go.
Well this is a feeling that celebrated Kenyan media personality Jane Ngoiri unfortunately knows too well, because she lost her beloved father awhile back and he is still in her memories.
Taking to her Instagram account earlier today, the former NTV Swahili news anchor infact emotionally marked nine years since she lost her dad.
“Exactly nine years ago, the Lord called you to be with him. Each day I wish you were around to witness the amazing woman I have become.
I am comforted by the fact that you are watching and smiling from above. You are dearly missed Wawa. Continue resting in peace” Jane Ngoiri wrote.
The mother of one further accompanied the message with a throwback photo of when her dad was still alive.
It was infact a photo where she had donned a graduation gown, and they were all smiles as they posed as shown below.
Ever since Jane Ngoiri unfortunately lost her beloved dad, she has always taken to her social media platforms to remember his anniversaries.
On July 4th 2021, she also took to her Instagram account to pen an emotional message reminding him of how much he is missed.
“Those we love never go away; they walk beside us everyday. Seven years ago, the world’s greatest dad breathed his last…Wawa you are dearly missed” she wrote.
