An organization of youths from Mount Kenya has declared their stand, saying that they have reached an extent where they don’t discern the dignity of the demonstrations since they began.

The youths went on to say that one of the reasons why they have deported rallies is because after the finance bill was upheld as law, that was the thing against which they were to protest on Tuesday, so they were to be abolished since it was making life unpleasant, but things have gone against them.

“We don’t want rallies because even if we are protesting zero modification, we have discerned it, and our aim for holding maandamano on Tuesday was for the finance bill to be abolished, but it has been signed into law, so we don’t behold the prestige of rallies,” he said.

They went on to send a message to Raila Odinga, saying not to expect them on the streets on Tuesday demonstrating because there is nothing they will be protesting for.

“Don’t expect us on the streets on Tuesday because what we are obstructing has been publicized under the law, so we don’t see any need for protesting,” they said.
