Different stories are told about Arabic countries. However many consider that one can make good money in those countries. Margaret, a resident of Muranga takes us through her survival in Arabic countries and how she was able to overcome everything.
She was born and raised in Muranga County. In Form 2, she dropped out and got married. The husband was responsible but at some point, he became violent making life so tough for her. The couple was financially stable but there was no peace for Margaret. With time, they bore 3 kids who made her persevere all the pain for their sake. The man was on good terms with the kids but had a bad attitude towards their mom.
The situation became unbearable and Margaret decided to leave for Saudi in search of peace. Her first home was okay but the kids were weirdos making life so rough. They kept fighting endangering her work so she opted to leave the job after 6 months. She was taken to another home where the wife was a teacher. The husband worked in the capital city and went home on weekends. The man had feelings for Margaret since the first day but he didn’t dare to approach her at first.
As time went by, he started seducing her whenever he got the chance. Margaret remained prayerful, requesting God to help her overcome. Having a back problem made Margaret fall into very tempting situations as she was even expected to massage him. He would even try to forcefully romance her but she didn’t give in. At last, she demanded he buys her an iPhone to meet his request but he couldn’t. That’s when he began reporting false accusations to his wife making her quarrel with Margaret so often.
Margaret continuously prayed, requesting God to fight for her. As the situation became better through prayer, she decided to leave promising her return after 3 months. However, she had made up her mind to never return to that home. She later went to Qatar for 2 years and was able to even buy herself a plot. Currently, she sells fruits and supplies onions to earn a living. She is also an upcoming artist and is proud of herself. She urges that, one shouldn’t necessarily submit to something they aren’t comfortable about for one’s happiness will always come first.
