Kenya Meteorological Department has dropped another crucial announcement concerning weather forecast for the next five days from today. According to the report shared by the Weatherman through their official social media platforms, detailed regional weather forecast indicates that the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria basin and Rift Valley especially Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Nakuru, Baringo, Nakuru, Kakamega, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu Homabay and Migori Counties are expected to receive heavy rains as from tomorrow onwards. Members of the public especially those living in those areas urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.
Morning showers are expected over few places. Morning are expected to be sunny though occasional rains may occur over few places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are likely to occur over few places occasionally spreading to several other places.
Maximum temperatures are likely to be high as high as 29 degrees Celsius in Kisumu. Minimum temperatures will be as low as 10 degrees Celsius. North Eastern Kenya especially Turkana and Samburu counties are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy conditions.
The Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia,Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Embu, Kiambu and Kirinyaga counties are expected to receive heavy rains as from today onwards. Mornings are expected to be cloudy conditions with light showers over few places. Afternoon showers are expected over several places of the country.
