The former head of state has finally addressed the invasion as he sends a warning to the thugs who took advantage to ruin millions of properties, barely two months after goons broke into Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northlands farm along Thika Road.

Uhuru claimed that he handed over power peacefully and in the open during a speech at the Jubilee Party National Delegates Conference (NDC) in Ngong Racecourse. He then asserted that those in authority wanted to frustrate him by sending thugs to torch his farm, steal livestock, and destroy properties so that he would be afraid. Uhuru, on the other hand, informed the thugs that he was not scared of them or the authorities and dared them to do what they had done again.

“Tukapatia uongozi mchana hata wakati wananitusi nikaa kimya tu nikasema ni haki yao watende yale wanataka, nikakaa kimya na yale yametokea matusi, kuiba mbuzi, kuchoma mashamba yote wakifikilia wanatisha, haya nawaambia waendelee lakini Chama si ya Uhuru ina wenye, nitashikilia mpaka wenyewe waniambie nipeane,” Uhuru said as the crowd burst into laughter.

After furious mobs destroyed millions of pieces of property, Uhuru Kenyatta remained mute about the Northlands farm invasion.
