The story of the death of Jeff Mwathi is still running the airwaves. Last week, the DPP acquitted DJ Fatxo who had been connected with his murder. He was acquitted after the DCI finished investigations and forwarded the file to the DPP for further action.
But it seems some Kenyans especially Jeff’s mother was disatisfied with the findings from the police and the DPP’s verdict. The mother has been bitter as evident on social media.
A few days ago, Dj Fatxo said he was denied entrance to his apartment and said his life was in danger.
The artist was hosted by Radio Jambo on Monday to clear the air on the matter. He denied killing Jeff and said Jeff was a good man and he only knew him when he wanted his number to hire him to design his shoes.
During the session, Radio Jambo host called Mama Jeff to hear her side of the story. But it turned out sad after the mother fumed at DJ Fatxo making him cry.
The mother angrily said her message to the government is that if anyone is found guilty of any crime, they should be prosecuted. She said she believes the artist was involved in the murder of her son.
The mother claimed that she called her son to tell him to go home but Dj Fatxo told her to wait because he will drop him. She painfully said that justice was not served. Fatxo bursted in tears as the mother fumed at him on air. The DJ maintained that he is innocent and he is a Kenyan who deserves rights too.
