Celebrated Kenyan comedian-cum-radio presenter Steve Thompson Maghana alias Oga Obinna has disclosed that gay men are interested in dating him.

The ex-Kiss FM presenter infact shared a screenshot of a DM that he received recently from one of the men on his Instagram account.
Going by the moniker of Tim, the man made it clear in that he liked Oga Obinna, and further asked him what he thought about it.
In his response however, the funny man also made it clear that he is straight and not into men.
Oga Obinna also warned such men from flooding his DMs, saying that he will never be interested in that.
“Timothy hapa ni wrong target. Forward ever backward never. Exit only, no entry”.
He added:
“Mnikome jamani. This post is for Tim and his team. Tokeni DM coz haiwezii!! Not now, not ever.
I respect your preference and choice also kindly respect mine. Hii sasa ni harassment jamani”.
Oga Obinna almost sexually assaulted by a man
The disclosure by Obinna about gay men being interested in him romantically however is not the first one.
In February 2022, the celebrated media personality opened up about how a fellow boy once approached him when he was a teenager in Chulaimbo High School.
This was via his YouTube channel ‘Obinna TV’ where he shared:
“I was in high school when a man hit on me. I was in Chulaimbo High School before I went to a different school”.
Obinna stated that he met the guy during one of their sports day events, and he almost took away his innocence.
“So one day I was cheerleading for the volleyball team. There was a guy called Pinto and during the sports day is when I first talked to him. I was on form 2 and he was in form 3/4”
“After a month he told me to go visit him so I asked when, and he told me to go the next Sunday. He lived around Luanda Market so I asked my parents for permission and went to visit him”.
When Obinna got to Pinto’s home, what followed was him being given a love letter by the latter, and he asked him whether he was interested. He was to answer yes or no.
The guy then sat next to Obinna and began confessing how he had liked him ever since he joined that school.
