In the past few months, Kenya national men’s football team (Harambee Stars) has been trying to come back to their high status after a FIFA suspension which ruled them out of the Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers.After a high profile friendly match with highly ranked Iran, the team’s head coach Engin Firat was recently out of the country sourcing for yet other high profile friendly matches.
Current updates indicate that Stars will be expected to face Pakistan, Mauritius and Djibouti in a 10 days four team friendly tournament to be played in Mauritius during the FIFA international window from 8th June 2023.
With these friendly tournament confirmed, Engin Firat is expected to name his squad for the assignment in the next few days for early preparations.In the last Stars outing against Iran, Firat included two new Europe based players who are Daniel Anyembe and Alfred Scriven into his squad.
