Tension remains high in Mombasa where the hearing of Mackenzi’s case is in progress as he was today given 30 days in jail for investigation. It is said that he will be there for 23 days from today. The magistrate said that they did this for his own safety because of what awaits him out there. Mackenzi was told that by any chance he gets released on bond, the public will mug him immediately he gets out of prison.
Because of this, he will remain locked up behind the bus so that investigation can continue. This is because releasing him might see the court lose him since many people are very angry with him and they might eliminate him immediately. His wife is also going through a lot because of the sins the husband committed.
As we speak, more bodies have continued being recovered from Shakahola Forest where hundreds are believed to have been buried.
