After spending days end behind the grills, New Life Ministry church pastor Ezekiel Odero has been released on 1.5 million cash bail. The man of robes became a guest of state after he was linked with Shamahola Farm Massacre mastermind, Paul Mackenzie.
Preliminary investigations made on Odero indicated that he is a longtime accomplice to Mackenzie. It is alleged that there was an exchange of bodies between New Life Church and Milele funeral home a thing that prompted the law enforcers to move in, close the church and apprehend Ezekiel.Images shared from Mombasa based court shows the man of God waving a Bible to courtroom with a grinning face a symbolic gesture that the word of God has triumphed. Worth a mention, Pastor Odero has been making appearances in coat with his signature white turbun and bible.As Pastor Ezekiel tastes freedom, the court has discouraged him from making public comments about Shamahola Farm Massacre. The court also asked the former to report to DCI offices once every week to enable them crack their codes.
Inspector General of police had requested the court to retain Pastor Ezekiel for 30 days to enable them conclude their investigation but their request has been turned down.
